  Body and paint repair
Here are some pictures of some damage needing both paint and decals after bodywork

a first step is to mark where the decal is located, then a heat gun on low to warm up the decal and help it release it's grip
Then to prep for some Iceing glazing putty before epoxy primer surfacer..

Templetes are our friend, here the holes get in there first and mock up the front fender extention

and then to flat black the underside and let a mist of the Sem Trim Flat Black barly mist the other side for a guide coat to help the eye see for final sand before paint. meanwhile the rest of the parts, tank , front brush bar also getting caught up for primer and then everything gets painted at the same time

Everthing is cured and sanded with 400, then masked for paint.

This needs to set up a couple days before the decals go on so there won't be bubbles down the road
Heres a pic in better light. On timeline on a Monday
Decals and details, the tape guid has been there all the time waiting to line up the vinly. THe front fender goes back together easily since we put the holes in way before paint

Every picture tells a story
